Apple quietly denies the request by Apple Employees to permanently extend Flexible Schedules introduced last year
With COVID-19 vaccinations proving to be successful, it was revealed on June 3rd that Apple's CEO sent out a memo regarding a 'return to work' pilot program set for September. On June 5th, we reported that a group of employees openly rebelled against Cook's new pilot program Policy set by Apple's CEO and listed their grievances.
After reviewing the employee's letter, Apple appears to have decided to deny the requested demands and positions presented to them.
An internal video, seen by The Verge, reveals Deidre O'Brien, SVP of retail and people, stating: "We believe that in-person collaboration is essential to our culture and our future. If we take a moment to reflect on our unbelievable product launches this past year, the products and the launch execution were built upon the base of years of work that we did when we were all together in-person."
