Apple has been Granted 15 Design Patents Relating to their AirPods Max and Smart Case
Apple introduced their first generation of AirPods Max featuring incredible high-fidelity audio, Adaptive EQ, Active Noise Cancellation, and spatial audio on December 8, 2020. Apple also introduced a soft, slim Smart Case that puts the headphones in an ultralow power state that helps preserve its battery charge. On Friday, Apple was granted 15 design patents from the Hong Kong Patent Office covering both AirPods Max and its Smart Case.

Friday afternoon the Hong Kong Patent Office issued Apple 15 Granted Design Patents covering the new AirPods Max and its associated Smart Case. Below are a few of the key design patents illustrated in line art and CAD images.
Apple's design patents for AirPods Max including their headphone cup component were filed under Locarno Classifications 14-01 and 03 that basically covers headphones and headphones for phones and microphones combined.
Apple's design patents for the AirPods Max Smart Case were filed under Locarno Classifications 3-01 basically covering cases specially designed for their contents.
