Apple was Granted 13 Design Patents for their 2020 iPad Air
Apple was granted 13 iPad Air Patents in Hong Kong on Friday numbered 2016588.8M001 - .8M013. There are two master design patents covering the entire iPad Air designs for both non-cellular and Wi-Fi Cellular. The other 11 patents cover different aspects of the iPad Air that Apple wanted further protection for, such as the camera configuration and cellular antennas.
Unlike "patent applications" that provide the public with an abstract, summary and details of an invention, design patents published around the world are limited to only providing the public with design patent figures. No additional specifics of the design are made available.

Various 2020 iPad Air Designs with Variable Emphasis
When Apple applies for a design patent, especially in Hong Kong, they present a master design covering all of the parts as a whole. In this case Apple presented a master design patent for both cellular and non-cellular models.
Apple then broke down the design to emphasize particular elements within a design that they want to further protect separately. Below are some of those additional design patents pointing out various elements such as cellular antennas, the camera area and more.
There were a couple of design patents presented where the emphasis couldn't be found to highlight in this report.
Apple's new iPad Air was introduced in a virtual event on September 15, 2020
