Red Rock Analytics, LLC sued Samsung in 2017 for patent infringement using patent 7,346,313 that they acquired for the sole purpose of suing tech companies. Now Red Rock Analytics is suing Apple for patent infringement with the same Patent. The formal complaint notes: "Based on Apple’s public statements and third party analyses of Apple’s products, the Infringing Products include, for example, 802.11n and later wireless transceivers made by Broadcom Inc." The infringing products range from the iPhone 4 and 4s through to the current iPhone X models, the iPad Pro, Apple TV 4K and more.
