If you happen to be a Samsung fan living in Los Angeles, Houston or on Long Island, New York, then you'll finally be able to buy Samsung products in their new stores directly. Samsung promises to launch more pop-up stores in other malls beginning next month.

Although Samsung partnered with Best Buy in 2016 to offer a store-within-a-store, the company wants to have stores that closer resemble Apple Stores. There won't be a "cash register" area but rather employees floating around the store that could finalize your purchase.

The new stores will offer walk-in repair service like Apple's Genius Bar that will include assistance while providing in-store presentations covering their various products.

C/Net further revealed that "You'll be able to interact with 4D VR experiences like virtual Titanic rides and play games with friends in Samsung's 4K gaming lounge. Samsung also will display its newest 8K TVs and help you build your own AR Emoji for its smartphones."

YH Eom, the new president and CEO of Samsung Electronics America: "We want to build a 'playground' for Samsung fans -- a place to learn about and try out all of the amazing new products we have to offer."

You'd think that with Samsung launching their new Galaxy S10 at an event in San Francisco next Wednesday, that they'd announce a new store for San Francisco at the same time to add to the excitement for local fans. Obviously their marketing team dropped the ball on this one.
