Apple Suppliers Foxconn, Quanta and Wistron report August Revenue Increases as Apple is set to announce new Products
Apple supplier Foxconn Electronics has reported consolidated revenues of NT$396.79 billion (US$12.9 billion) for August 2018, up 0.3% sequentially and 25.3% on year.
With Apple launching new iPhones and other products tomorrow, market watchers know that Apple's orders is behind the increase in revenues that are likely to grow even higher for the rest of 2018.
It's also being reported today that Quanta, who is making Apple's new lower-end MacBook and Apple Watch Series 4, also reported increases of more than 10% in August consolidated revenues.
Quanta noted that its revenue growths in August were contributed mainly by its server and wearable product lines and the two product lines are expected to achieve stronger growths than that of the notebook in 2018.
