Last February Patently Apple posted a report titled "New Patent War: Immersion Files Patent Infringement Case & Complaint with the ITC over Touch Feedback Technology." The initial patent suit covered the iPhone 6, Apple Watch infringing the company's touch and haptics technology. A second report of ours covered more details of the lawsuit. Then in May Immersion revealed that they had extended their lawsuit to covering Apple's MacBooks that use Force Touch for their trackpad.

Today Immersion quietly posted a simple notice/statement on the conclusion of the matter as follows:

"Immersion Corporation (Nasdaq: IMMR), the leading developer and the leading developer and licensor of touch feedback technology, today announced that the Company has entered into settlement and license agreements with Apple, the terms of which are confidential."
