Apple's new Singapore Store that will be powered by Solar Energy will be Opening Soon
A Singapore publication posted a photo of Apple's new store location last night showing the store is getting closer to opening. Dubbed 'Red Dot Heroes' by Apple, these Creative Pros are the liberal arts equivalent of Apple's technical Geniuses that specialize in troubleshooting and repairs of products.
The StraitTimes noted in their report that "Some of Apple's Creative Pros will conduct free hands-on sessions at the upcoming Apple Orchard Road Store. These sessions, collectively called 'Today at Apple,' will be launching progressively in all Apple Retail Stores across the world this month.
The Straits Times understands that the Apple Orchard Road store will be opening soon, but no specific date or time has been provided."
The StraitTimes reported back in November 2015 that Apple had gone all out to tackle climate change, turning to solar power to run its entire Singapore operations, including its upcoming Apple Store in Orchard Road. Apple will be the first company in Singapore to rely entirely on solar energy.
So Apple's first store in Singapore is definitely a unique store and the first of its kind in Singapore.
