Last November Apple opened a next-gen Apple store in Brussels that introduced their next-gen tables and shelving display structures. More design patents supporting these designs have since rolled out in Hong Kong starting in November with new yet-to-be-seen smaller Apple Watch Tables. Then came store shelving units for Beats headsets and iPhone covers followed by design patents for new giant glass swing-doors and various new store designs. Yesterday the Patent and Trademark Office in Hong Kong awarded Apple two design patents for 'display structures' accommodating iPad accessories.
Unlike "patent applications," design patents published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and/or any other Patent Office, don't reveal pertinent information about a particular design. All we are given is a series of simple photos and/or line-art graphics of what was actually registered.
