As WWDC 2016 draws nigh, Apple's iOS 9 latest adoption rate has climbed to 84%. Next week the Google I/O developer conference begins and their latest OS version branded Marshmallow introduced last May has a dismal adoption rate of 7.5%, less than 1/10th the rate of iOS 9.
Android Lollipop, introduced in 2014, holds 35.6% and KitKat, released in 2013, holds 32%.
