Yesterday we reported that Apple's CEO's busy agenda included meeting with Reliance Jio Infocomm which is planning to start nationwide commercial 4G services this year, making them key to Apple's iPhone strategy. Today we've learned a little more about Cook's meeting.
According to an Indian report, Apple and Reliance have agreed to forge a long-term relationship wich includes supplying millions of VoLTE iPhones that will work on Reliance Jio's 4G Network as well as deploying an enterprise sollution.
According to the Economic Times, Apple's CEO made a pitch for potential deployment of Apple Pay in Reliance Jio's retail stores and Reliance noted that that they were interested in having their representatives use iPads and iPhones with MobileFirst Apple-IBM sollutions.
