Apple Revises 'iCloud' Trademark to Cover Vehicles, Apple Pay and Health Markets
Last weekend we posted a report about Apple updating their 'Think Different' trademark so as to cover new products and services such as Apple Pay, Apple Pencil, Apple TV and Siri. Today, China's Hong Kong Patent and Trademark Office published Apple's updated filing for 'iCloud' to likewise cover Apple Pay along with health and fitness, and more importantly, for all things related to 'Vehicles' on land, water and rail.
Apple's Trademark Application In-Part for 'iCloud'
Class 10: Health
International Class 10 specifically covers: "Health, fitness, exercise, and wellness sensors, monitors and displays; medical apparatus and devices."
Class 12: Vehicles
International Class 12 specifically covers: "Vehicles; apparatus for locomotion by land, air, water or rail; consoles being parts of vehicle interiors; dashboards; automotive interior trim and interior trim parts of automobiles; anti-theft devices for vehicles; anti-theft alarms for vehicles; bicycles; golf carts; wheel chairs; air pumps being vehicle accessories; motor cycles; vehicles for locomotion by land, air, water or rail; motor cars; pumps for bicycles, cycles; cable transport apparatus and installations; baby carriages; sleighs [vehicles]; vehicle wheel tires; repair outfits for inner tubes; aeronautical apparatus, machines and appliances; steering gears for ships / ships' steering gears; seat covers for vehicles; parts for all the aforesaid goods."
Class 36: Financial Services
International Class 36 specifically covers: "Financial services; financial transaction services; bill payment services; providing secure commercial transactions; credit and debit card services; payment authorization, verification, and transaction processing services; electronic payment and funds transfer services."
