Apple Granted Design Patents for their Stores in Istanbul & China
In December 2014 the Apple Store in Istanbul Turkey, known as the 'Glass Lantern,' was awarded the Supreme Award for Structural Engineering Excellence. Last year Apple was granted their first design patent for this Apple Store design and today they've received their second granted patent for an "Architectural Structure." Today, Apple was also granted a design patent for their store in Zhongjie Joy City, China.
