Laurene Powell Jobs Reportedly Got Leonardo DiCaprio & Christian Bale to Drop out of the Steve Jobs Movie
According to a new report tonight, Steve Jobs' widow was so determined to have the new movie about the late Apple boss canned that she contacted Leonardo DiCaprio and Christian Bale to persuade them not to take the role. Laurene Powell Jobs reportedly begged the Hollywood stars to avoid the leading role, with both of the actors believed to have been offered the part. She is even alleged to have called potential financial backers when the movie hit issues with funding. Boyle admitted that Ms. Powell Jobs and Apple "haven't helped", adding: "There's been some tough moments. I'm not going to go into them."
Earlier today we reported that "Cranky Aaron Sorkin blurts out that he's "absolutely done with Silicon Valley" after Steve Jobs Movie."
With Laurene Powell Jobs fighting so hard to see the film die on the vine, will you be seeing the film this Friday or protest along with Laurene by passing on it? Send in your comments below.
