Last week Apple was granted 38 design patents by the Hong Kong Patent Office for Apple Watch. This week another 7 design patents were issued covering various bands and Apple Watch parts. In the last Apple Watch design patent within this current series we cover Apple Watch Sport with its high-performance fluoroelastomer band that is both durable and strong. Our report provides you with 3 sets of jumbo graphics to help you see all of the details of the design. Over the past 7 days the Hong Kong Patent Office has granted Apple an incredible 45 design patents. And who knows, there may be more designs in the pipeline. During Apple's Financial Conference Call this week, Apple reported that they grew their business in China by 112% year-over-year. So it's no wonder that Apple wants to make sure that everything imaginable about their Apple Watch design is covered and protected going into holiday season.
Unlike "patent applications," design patents published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and/or any other Patent Office, don't reveal pertinent information about a particular design. All we are given is a series of simple photos and/or line-art graphics of what was actually registered.
