Apple's New Mapping Vehicle Schedule Massively Extends throughout the U.S., England, Sweden, Ireland & France

1AF 55 APPLE MAP VEHICLE SCHEDULE UPDATE

In June we posted a report titled "Today Apple Sets the Story Straight about Apple Maps Vehicles" that mocked a rash of Apple Van stories as being equivalent to UFO sighting reports by some in the Apple blogosphere. More importantly, it listed Apple's first round of locations that the "Apple Maps vehicles" would be working in that included various cities in the US and England. Today, Apple Introduced round two of their schedule that vastly expands their footprint in the U.S. while adding European countries Ireland, France and Sweden. Over time Apple's Turn-by-Turn navigation may include an equivalent mapping feature to Google's Street Views.
