Apple was one of Five Honorees at Yesterday's Helen Keller Achievement Awards Event Held in New York

The American Foundation for the Blind held their 19th Annual Helen Keller Achievement Awards event yesterday evening and Apple was one of the Honorees. Apple's Lisa Jackson attended the event as one of the "Dinner Chairs" along with other honorees Vanda Pharmaceuticals, Litton Entertainment, Vornado Realty Trust and Marriott International.

 

Apple statement: "Apple Inc. deeply believes in advancing humanity by making its products accessible to people with various disabilities. Intuitive by design, Macs, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Apple Watch come with assistive features that allow people with disabilities to experience the fun and function of the Apple ecosystem.
