Foxconn Subsidiary Now Sells Second-Hand iPhones & More

According to new Tencent (Chinese-language news site) report, Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) has been engaged in selling second-hand iPhones via a subsidiary and the company is able to acquire about 50,000-60,000 second-hand iPhones a day through legit channels worldwide, 80% of which are sold through stores in Hong Kong and then enter into the China market.

 

The report further noted that second-hand iPhones are a rather large business with good profits and Foxconn is looking to establish a second-hand iPhone transaction ecosystem in China since some players have been known try to refurbish second-hand iPhones using second-rate components to increase profits.
