Apple Opened Store Number Fourteen in China Today
We reported on January 12 that Apple had opened their first Apple Store in central China in downtown Zhengzhou with a follow-up report that Apple was accelerating their retail buildout in China with four more stores before the Chinese New Year. The next Apple Store was scheduled to open in West Lake in Hangzhou on January 24.
Right on schedule, the Hangzhou Apple Store opened today with Apple's typical fanfare. It's interesting to note that the Apple Store staff in China wears the country's bright red color as noted below. Today's opening marks the fourteenth Apple Store in China to date.
