Apple to Contract Pegatron to Handle Surging iPhone Plus sales

10A News - Rumor
According to a new Taiwan supply chain report, Apple's currently raging iPhone sales and upcoming iPads and Apple Watch in Q1 2015, global demand for non-Apple consumer notebooks and tablets is likely to remain weak in the fourth quarter of 2014 through to the second quarter of 2015 when Microsoft launches Windows 10.

In addition to notebooks, demand for Samsung Electronics, Sony and HTC's flagship smartphones has also dropped worldwide recently.

The bigger news is that Apple is reportedly planning to add Pegatron Technology as an extra ODM partner for its iPhone 6 Plus starting the first quarter of 2015 because of raging market demand. Pegatron is expected to receive up to 20% of Apple's iPhone 6 Plus orders for the quarter. This latest rumor supports our report that we posted yesterday titled "Apple adjusts their iPhone Order Ratio in Favor of the iPhone 6 Plus."
