Apple's ongoing work on a Parking Location Service Surfaces
Apple has filed at least three known patent Applications related to parking your vehicle or finding your vehicle in a parking structure with new indoor related technologies. Two of the patents were revealed in April 2013 (one, two) and the third came to light in January 2014. Today we discovered that Apple is working on adding a "parking" location service to their maps app that could debut with iOS 8 this fall or shortly thereafter.

9to5Mac's Mike Beasley reports today that Apple's latest mapping software as revealed at last week's WWDC developer sessions shows us six images dedicated to parked car locations.
While it's unknown at this time if Apple's new parking location service will be ready for iOS 8 this fall, we at least know that Apple's patents will be coming to life in the not-too-distant future. This once again confirms that patent filings do in fact reveal future Apple products and services.
