Apple Files for Nine iOS 7 Icon Trademarks in China
As we near the release of Apple's new iPhones with iOS 7, Apple has now begun filing trademarks in Hong Kong China covering their revised icon designs that were first revealed at this year's World Wide Developer Conference. The first nine were revealed late on Friday as noted in our cover graphic. Apple filed their trademarks under the common International Class 009 which covers everything imaginable including electronic devices, televisions, telephones, sunglasses and the all-important fire extinguisher.

Over the next few weeks Apple Legal will continue filing trademark applications for the remaining iOS 7 icons that will be officially launching on iDevices in the next few weeks.
