Apple won 13 Design Patents in Europe this week covering Powerbeats Pro 2 Charging Case along with an Apple TV Mount
Apple was granted 13 design patents relating to the Powerbeats Pro 2 charging case and what appears to be a new Apple TV mount.
Unlike "patent applications" that provide the public with an abstract, summary and details of an invention, design patents published around the world are limited to only providing the public with design patent figures. No additional specifics of the design are made available.
Apple was Granted a Series of Design Patents for the Powerbeats Charging Case
Apple was granted 12 design patents relating to the Beats earbuds charging case. Below are two of the design patents with one CAD and one Line Art. There were an additional 10 partial patents presented tat presented parts of the case they wanted to double protect. We don’t cover those.
Apple was granted an additional 11 design patent for the accompanying Powerbeats Pro 2 earbuds that appears to have moratorium on actually presenting the graphics. Perhaps they’ll get the green light to publish them next week.
An Apple Design Patent for a Mounting Unit for Audiovisual Devices
Apple’s design patent for a “Mounting Unit for Audiovisual Devices,” appears to be their own design for an Apple TV mount, differing from the one listed on Apple’s site for the TotalMount Pro. Whether Apple will license this new design to an Apple accessory make or introduce in under their own Brand is unknown at this time.
