Foxconn is to further expand in Texas to meet Server demands from Apple for its "Private Cloud Compute" AI Project

Apple announced last month that it would invest in a server manufacturing plant in Texas. Today, Foxconn announced that it will be expanding its US layout. Its subsidiary Ingrasys Technology USA Inc. announced that it had acquired land and factories in Houston, Texas. The total transaction amount was approximately US$142 million. Foxconn said this was due to operational needs. Market analysis shows that Foxconn is expanding its production capacity in Houston to meet new server demands from Apple and other companies.

According to a UDN report, the target site acquired by Foxconn this time is located in Houston. The transaction units include 86.34 acres of land and 1,011,521 square feet of factory buildings. The total transaction amount is approximately US$142 million. Regarding this transaction, Foxconn said it was an operational need.

Foxconn already has a server manufacturing base in Houston, Texas. The industry interprets the acquisition of new land and factory buildings as being to meet the server needs of customers such as Apple.

It's been reported that Apple pointed out that it will produce servers with Foxconn in Houston later this year for use in the Apple Intelligence cloud. This system is called "Private Cloud Compute" and uses M-series chips produced in Taiwan.
