The original rumor of an OLED iPad Mini coming to market in 2026 by Omdia resurfaces with added news from a leaker
In February 2024, Omdia posted a report regarding Apple's new OLED Roadmap through to 2029 as presented below in their chart.

The report noted that Apple will launch an 8.3-inch OLED iPad mini tablet PC in 2026 and a 10.8-inch OLED iPad Air tablet PC with an LTPS backplane and single-structure RGB OLED in 2027. Omdia estimates that BOE plans to produce these panels in its newly built flexible OLED Gen 8.6 fab in 2027. Samsung Display will manufacture these panels in its existing Gen 6 flexible OLED fab. It is unsure whether LG Display will be the panel supplier.
This news has been rehashed in a new MacRumors report while adding a rumor from Jukanlosreve that repeats what Omdia reported on in February 2024. Yet the leaker provided MacRumors with his own roadmap display chart as presented below.

Interestingly Jukanlosreve's chart lists an 18.8" Foldable tablet arriving in between 2028-2030. For more on this, read the full MacRumors report. Jukanlosreve's track record on accurate rumors is unknown at this time.
