While China believes in a One China Policy wherein there's only one sovereign state under the name China, with the PRC serving as the sole legitimate government of that China, analytical companies like Canalys love to report on Mainland China and ignore Hong Kong statistics where Apple's sales are strong. Without including Hong Kong, it suppresses Apple's total sales in China.
