Apple won more Design Patents in Europe, new Figurative Trademarks in the U.S. and the Alivecor vs Apple case has been dismissed
It’s been an interesting Intellectual Property week with Apple winning several design patents in Europe and Hong Kong, a few Figurative Trademarks in the U.S. and an Appeals court dismisses one of the Alivecor vs. Apple cases.
Unlike "patent applications" that provide the public with an abstract, summary and details of an invention, design patents published around the world are limited to only providing the public with design patent figures. No additional specifics of the design are made available.

Apple was granted a second Apple Intelligence figurative trademark under number 98846085 that was filed under International Class 042 as presented below.
In other IP news, A U.S. Appeals Court on November 12, 2024 ruled that Alivecor vs Apple (patent infringement case) be dismissed.
