DXOMARK announced the image test score of Apple iPhone 16. After testing, Apple iPhone 16 ranked 20th in the DXOMARK global image rankings with a total score of 147 points , surpassing Apple iPhone 15 /Plus (145 points), iPhone 14 Pro /Max (146 points) and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (144 points).

DxOMark praised the iPhone 16 camera, saying that "HDR photos taken by the phone look bright and vibrant, with excellent contrast; skin tones in photos and videos look natural and accurate; the zoom function is smooth during preview; indoor shooting details are delicate; autofocus is fast and accurate, and can capture clear images in a variety of scenes. In terms of video recording, the phone can effectively control noise and provide stable anti-shake performance."
