Last night at Picturehouse Central in London, Apple TV+ celebrated the world premiere of the highly anticipated second season of “Silo,” the hit, world-building drama based on Hugh Howey’s New York Times bestselling trilogy of dystopian novels.
Attendees at the “Silo” season two premiere included creator, writer, showrunner and executive producer Graham Yost, and series stars Steve Zahn, Tim Robbins, Common, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Clare Perkins, Billy Postlethwaite, Rick Gomez, Caitlin Zoz, Tanya Moodie, Iain Glen and more.
“Silo” is the story of the last ten thousand people on earth, their mile-deep home protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside. However, no one knows when or why the silo was built and those who try to find out face fatal consequences. Ferguson stars as Juliette, an engineer who seeks answers about a loved one’s murder and tumbles onto a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to discover that if the lies don’t kill you, the truth will.
Created by Emmy-nominated screenwriter Graham Yost, who also serves as showrunner, and starring and executive produced by Rebecca Ferguson. The 10-episode second season will sadly premiere with only a single episode streaming globally on Friday, November 15.
For those who prefer to Binge-Watch a series in its entirety to keep the action and storyline intact instead of painfully waiting for weekly episodes like cable TV, Apple confirms that the full series will be available to subscribers on January 17, 2025.
In other Apple TV+ News, Nick Offerman will joint Elle Fanning, Nicole Kidman and Michelle Pfeiffer in the upcoming Apple TV+ series titled "Mago's Got Money Troubles" that was announced in September. Source: Variety.
