Foxconn has hired 50,000 Production Line workers in the last two weeks to put iPhone 16 Production into Hyper Mode
According to a new supply chain report this morning, Apple's iPhone 16 series production of the iPhone 16 at Foxconn in Zhengzhou has once again reached a peak. Several internal employees and recruiters revealed that Foxconn's Zhengzhou factory has stepped up its efforts and entered the sprint stage of production .
Insiders said that the demand for labor on the production line is growing rapidly. If workers in the manufacturing workshop are there for three months, they will receive a bonus of 7,500 yuan (US$1045). At least 50,000 new employees have joined the factory in the past two weeks, and they are still recruiting on a large scale. If there is still a shortage of manpower in subsequent production, it is not a problem to increase the bonus. The current iPhone 16 production line is already in full mass production.
Foxconn new Business Headquarters
In other Foxconn news, the company has recently signed a cooperation agreement with the Henan Provincial Government to invest in the construction of a new business headquarters building in Zhengzhou to serve as the headquarters.
In addition, around the implementation of the 3+3 strategy, Foxconn will focus on the layout of electric vehicle pilot production center, solid-state battery and other projects in Zhengzhou Airport Economic Zone in the near future.
The electric vehicle pilot production center project will plan and build a "world-class electric vehicle demonstration production line" to create a display platform that provides manufacturing services to well-known automobile brands at home and abroad and a "world-class lighthouse factory" in the field of complete vehicles, laying the foundation for the subsequent mass production of electric vehicles . The goal is to build Zhengzhou Airport into the core production base of Foxconn electric vehicles .
In terms of solid-state battery projects, the solid-state battery industry will be developed in Zhengzhou Airport Economic Zone, with a focus on the research and development and production of solid-state electrolytes, semi-solid and all-solid-state battery cells.
If Apple's Project Titan would have survived, Apple could have worked with Foxconn on vehicle production.
