A Step-by-Step Guide to Assist Apple iPhone 15 Pro and M1-Based iPad users to get Apple Intelligence to work
It's being reported this morning that with the release of iOS 18.1 beta 2, Apple has introduced access to Apple Intelligence for English speakers in the European Union. Previously, this feature was restricted, but now users in the EU can explore Apple’s advanced AI capabilities.
Apple initially limited this feature to the US because it only supports US English. Another barrier was regulatory restrictions within the EU, likely related to the Digital Markets Act. While these issues have not been fully resolved, the current beta allows EU users with a US App Store ID to test Apple Intelligence. According to GizChina.
Apple’s new service offers a wide range of features, including text composition, email drafting, app automation, image generation, and document summarization. However, these capabilities demand significant processing power. Compatibility is limited to the iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max and iPads with M1 Processors.
