In a new Bloomberg report today we learn that an internal Microsoft memo states that its Chinese employees will "soon" be required to only use Apple devices to verify their identities when using work computers or mobile phones. Starting in September employees will only be able to use iPhones for work, which is equivalent to "excluding Android devices from the workplace ."

The measure is part of Microsoft's global "Secure Future Initiative" and will affect hundreds of employees in mainland China.
