Patently Apple noted back in a 2022 report that the patent dispute between Apple and Qualcomm would likely continue to between 2025-2027  if Apple decides to extend the original contract, then in 2029 the disputed Qualcomm patents are set to expire.

Today, in a third Ming-Chi Kuo research note report he stated that Apple is accelerating its move away from reliance on Qualcomm. In 2025, two new iPhone models will ditch Qualcomm's 5G chips and adopt Apple's in-house 5G chips: the iPhone SE4 (1Q25) and the ultra-slim iPhone 17 (3Q25).
