Apple wins design patents for a Nike Sport Loop Apple Watch Band and Furniture in the form of a Bench for Flagship Stores+
Apple has been granted a series of new design patents covering an Apple Watch band related to the Nike series plus a series of design patents for furniture for Apple Stores, mainly flagship stores as noted in the photo above from Apple's New York 57th. Avenue location.
Unlike "patent applications" that provide the public with an abstract, summary and details of an invention, design patents published around the world are limited to only providing the public with design patent figures. No additional specifics of the design are made available.
Apple Watch Band: Game Royal Orange Nike Sport Loop
Today, the Hong Kong Patent and Trademark Office granted Apple two design patents for the Game Royal Nike Sport Loop Apple Watch Band. Design patents 2422937.1M001 and .1M002 were filed on Locarno Classification 10-07 which covers "accessories, cases " and more.
Below is an image of an actual Apple showcasing the Nike band and below it are a few of design patent figures. Clearly this is an "Apple band and not one from Nike – making it a clear marketing gimmick.
Europe: Apple Store Furniture Design Patents
Apple has been granted a series of design patents in Europe (Germany specifically) for a "Podium" (furniture) and a "Bench," as illustrated below.
The "Bench" design patents are numbered 015064417-002, -003 and 004 filed under Locano Classification 06-01 covering "Seats."
The designs appear to be associated with the Apple Store's new benches designed for representatives to present/introduce customers features associated with Apple Vision Pro.
The bench designs appear be a variant of those illustrated below from the 57th Ave. New York Apple Store that were used to introduce customers to Apple Vision Pro.
