Apple Files Trademark Applications for 'Apple Pencil Pro' in Hong Kong and the U.S.

Apple introduced the new iPad Pro on May 7th along with the new Apple Pencil Pro. Today, the Hong Kong Patent Office published Apple's application for Apple Pencil Pro and the figurative version of the same trademark as noted below.


The all-text version was filed under application 306557743 and the figurative trademark version under number 306557752. The applications were filed under International Class 009 covering "Computer peripheral devices; peripheral devices for computers and mobile electronic devices; keyboards; mice; input devices for computers and handheld mobile digital electronic devices; computer styluses."

The priority filing only revealed today was applied for in Jamaica on December 12, 2023, well ahead of Apple Pencil Pro's debut.

In the U.S. Apple filed for the text only Apple Pencil Pro trademark under number 98552958 as presented in-part below. Apple filed their U.S. trademark under International Class 009, though with different text as follows: "Input devices for computers and handheld mobile digital electronic devices; computer styluses."
