An Apple Designer who worked on Safari since 2019 has joined 'The Browser Company'

Charlie Dietz, a key Apple Safari browser designer, has left Apple to join "The Browser Company" that's behind the upcoming Arc browser. The CEO made the announcement on Twitter on Monday as shown below.

Dietz has been with Apple since 2019 working on Safari, Accessibility, Screen Sharing, Privacy and more.

Josh Miller says Arc will be "generally available" for Windows, macOS and iOS by this summer - and there will also be a cross-platform sync system. (Arc Browser is a browser based on Chromium and is written in Swift. It supports Chrome browser extensions, and uses Google Search by default.

In February of this year, The Browser Company announced that the company's development had entered "Act II" (Act II), launching four features and blurring the boundaries between browsers and search engines – as detailed in the video below.
