Apple has announced a new untitled Comedy Series that will star Owen Wilson as an over-the-hill Ex-Pro Golfer + 'Manhunt' debuts Friday
Apple TV+ announced today that it will expand its award-winning comedy slate with a new 10-episode yet untitled comedy starring and executive produced by Owen Wilson (“Loki,” “The Royal Tenenbaums,” “Midnight in Paris”) and created, written and executive produced by Jason Keller (“Ford v Ferrari”).
Starring Wilson in the lead role, the comedy follows Pryce Cahill, an over-the-hill, ex-pro golfer whose career was derailed prematurely 20 years ago. After he gets fired from his job at an Indiana sporting goods store and his wife walks out on him, Pryce hedges his bets entirely on a troubled 17-year-old golf phenom.
The series will be produced by Apple Studios and directed by Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris.
Manhunt
“Manhunt” is set to make its global debut on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes airing on Friday, March 15, 2024. For those who prefer to Binge-Watch a series instead of painfully waiting for weekly episodes like cable TV, Apple confirms that the full series will be available to subscribers on April 19, 2024.
For those interested in this series, The Hollywood Reporter has posted a full review.
