Apple wins new Design Patents for Apple Vision Pro covering it's optional over-head Strap, its Light Seal and more (Jumbo Graphics Included)
Apple was granted yet another round of design Patents for Apple Vision Pro in Hong Kong. In total, they were granted 46 design patents covering different aspects of Apple Vision Pro. In today's report, we cover the "over-head strap" presented on Apple Vision Pro, the Strap independently along with "the lens," and the "Light Seal."
Unlike "patent applications" that provide the public with an abstract, summary and details of an invention, design patents published around the world are limited to only providing the public with design patent figures. No additional specifics of the design are made available. Below are design patents relating to Apple Vision Pro.
Apple Vision Pro with "Over Head Strap," "Light Seal" and "Strap" were filed under Locarno Class 14-02 covering "Data Processing Equipment, Peripheral Apparatus and Devices." Apple Vision Pro Lens was filed under Locarno Class 16-06 covering "Optical Articles."
The design patents above are those covering devices in their entirety. To ensure that no part of their design could be copied, Apple filed and was granted partial designs zeroing on specific features of a device that they want protected. For those, we only cover thumbnail images below for public record.
Due to holiday time constraints, Patently Apple will cover the remaining design patents granted to Apple last Friday in the days ahead.
