In March 2023 Patently Apple posted a report titled  "A Massive Enthusiastic Crowd Jammed the new Apple Gangnam Store in the Heart of Samsung's Home Turf." This morning, another store, Apple Hongdae, opened in the center of a bustling university neighborhood in Seoul, marking Apple’s 100th retail location in the Asia-Pacific region. The enthusiam of Apple fans and new customers was once again very high as you can see in our cover graphic and the 7 jumbo photos below.

This new space invites customers in Korea to discover and shop Apple’s incredible lineup of products, and receive best-in-class support from dedicated team members.

Customers can also participate in free "Today at Apple" sessions, including a limited-time Pop-Up Studio featuring hip-hop artist Beenzino. Students, families, and the local community can drop in and collect ideas, art, photos, and more for their own 2024 vision boards using Freeform on iPad.
