An industry insider speculates that "Apple has lowered the first supply of OLED panels for iPad, possibly out of caution about initial demand. Although the specific price of the product has not yet been determined, it is likely to be more expensive than the existing LCD version of iPad products. expensive."
It is reported that the OLED panel equipped with the new iPad product uses a double-layer tandem structure technology (Tandem) composed of a double-layer organic light-emitting layer. The light-emitting layer is brighter and has a longer life than a single-layer OLED structure. Samsung Display had issues such as inconsistencies with Apple's specifications in the early stages of mass production, but it has now stated that it can complete mass production on time.
