Samsung will present their AI vision at CES 2024 and introduce AI in their next-gen Galaxy S24 smartphone on January 17 in San Jose
Earlier this morning Patently Apple posted a report titled " Samsung is organizing a new team for developing Foldable Devices like a hybrid tablet-notebook for Apple." Now Samsung has announced their CES 2024 schedule as noted in the graphic below.
CES is a major electronics trade show that takes place every year in Las Vegas. The 2024 event will take place from Jan. 9 through Jan. 12.
Samsung Electronics will hold a news conference titled “AI for All: Connectivity in the Age of AI” on Jan. 8 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Han Jong-hee, vice chairman of Samsung Electronics heading the DX (Device Experience) division, will take the stage to lay out the company's AI ambitions.
Samsung revealed its own generative AI model, Samsung Gauss, in November. Samsung plans to deploy the algorithm in its devices step by step, ranging from smartphones to laptops and home appliances.
It is speculated that their next-gen Galaxy S24 flagship smartphone debuting on January 17 in San Jose will launch with Gauss built in.
LG Electronics will also hold a news conference titled “Reinvent your future” at CES on Jan. 8.
CEO William Cho is expected to present the company's vision of transforming into a “Smart Life Solution Company” as declared earlier in July as part of its Future Vision 2030.
The conference will outline ways in which LG is “leveraging AI to expand and enhance both the living space and the customer experience,” the company said.
LG Electronics is banking on generative AI technology to enhance home appliance functions and user experiences.
In addition, ASUS will hold an online conference for "In Search of Incredible: Transcendence" at 1 a.m. on January 10, 2024, Taiwan time. ASUS stated that it will grandly launch a new masterpiece equipped with AI functions, with both perfect quality and stylish design; ASUS's promotional remarks seem to imply that it will soon launch AI PC products.
