On Friday, the Hong Kong Patent Office published 27 design Patents relating to Apple Vision Pro equaling 216 individual patent figures. Apple submitted designs for the whole of Vision Pro along with individual parts to ensure that each part is legally protected. The design patents are out way before the product comes to market so as to protect it right out of the gate in 2024.

Unlike "patent applications" that provide the public with an abstract, summary and details of an invention, design patents published around the world are limited to only providing the public with design patent figures. No additional specifics of the design are made available.
