Apple recently filed for a new round of trademarks in both the U.S. and China that cover the figurative version of "Reality Composer Pro' and more.
Reality Composer Pro Figurative Logo
With visionOS, Apple introduced Reality Composer Pro, a pro development tool to assist developers compose, edit, and preview 3D Content. With Reality Composer Pro, developers can create immersive 3D experiences. Earlier this month, Apple filed for the Reality Composer Pro Logo as presented below.
Apple filed this trademark under International Class 009, covering: "Downloadable application development software; downloadable computer software, namely, providing a library of virtual objects for use in developing other software applications; downloadable computer software used in producing animation and three-dimensional scenes for use in other software applications; downloadable virtual reality software; downloadable augmented reality software; downloadable software for navigating virtual reality and augmented reality environments; downloadable computer software for use in enabling computers and mobile devices to provide virtual reality and augmented reality experiences; instruction manuals provided herewith." Apple Subsidiary Claris has filed for a Trademark Filing under #98193607 for a new "FileMaker Pro" logo as presented above. Their "Specimen" below illustrates how the logo is shown in the marketplace.
Claris filed for their trademark under International Class 09 covering the following:
"Downloadable computer software development tools; Downloadable computer software for database management; Downloadable computer software platforms for application development, deployment and management; Recorded computer software development tools; Recorded computer software for database management; Recorded computer software platforms for application development, deployment and management" Note that the bold text in red is how it was empathized in the actual filing.
It should be noted that international trademark classes that Apple files their trademarks under are important as the trademark registration will only protect those classes that have been identified in their original application. In a legal battle, the classes filed for originally could make or break a legal case.
