Lastly, Apple has filed for the trademark "AXLearn" in Hong Kong. AXLearn is a library built on top of JAX and XLA to support development of large-scale deep learning models.
AXLearn takes an object-oriented approach to the software engineering challenges that arise from building, iterating, and maintaining models. The configuration system of the library lets users compose models from reusable building blocks and integrate with other libraries such as Flax and Hugging Face transformers.
Apple filed AXLearn in Hong Kong under application #306327586 under International Class 009 covering: "Machine learning software; application development software; software development tools."
It should be noted that international trademark classes that Apple files their trademarks under are important as the trademark registration will only protect those classes that have been identified in their original application. In a legal battle, the classes filed for originally could make or break a legal case.
