Today, the 27" Apple Studio Display costs aproximately US$1600, which is a little high for most. Then came Samsung's 32" Smart Monitor M8 at US$700 which was a little easier on the wallet. The design was smartly aimed at Mac users, as illustrated below.

Apple's 32" Pro Display XDR offers 6K sells for US$4999 and is only for the true Pro niche  video production market. Is Samsung considering to aim for more economical displays to compete with Apple's Pro Display XDR-like monitor?

While it's not official, a new Samsung patent published last week in Europe seems to be aiming for just that market segment. Below are a few of Samsung's patent figures.

Samsung notes that the display could be a PC Monitor, Smart TV, large format display, electronic blackboard and more.
