Apple Files Multiple Trademarks for macOS Sonoma, Apple Vision Pro and more
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office published new trademarks for Apple today covering macOS Sonoma and Optic ID while filing other trademarks in both Hong Kong and Europe.

Apple introduced macOS Sonoma at WWDC23 on Monday and today the U.S. Patent Office published Apple's trademark filing #98027691 for it as noted in-part below.
Apple filed their trademark under International Class 09 covering "Downloadable computer operating software; Downloadable computer operating system software; Recorded computer operating software; Recorded computer operating system software."
To secure the trademark, Apple's priority filing was made in Liechtenstein in January 2023. You have to be a citizen of Liechtenstein to be able to access trademark information, making it ideal for Apple to keep future trade names secret.
Optic ID
On Tuesday Patently Apple posted a report that covered Apple's trademark filing for 'Optic ID' in Hong Kong. Today, the U.S. Patent Office Published two 'Optic ID' filings from Apple (#98026450 and #98026456) that presented different International Classes wherein the verbiage was also slightly different from their Hong Kong filings as presented in full below.
Class 09 for '450 Filing: "Computer hardware for biometric identification, authentication and access control; biometric scanners; downloadable biometric identification software; recorded biometric identification software; downloadable computer software for use in biometric authentication, verification, and access control; recorded computer software for use in biometric authentication, verification, and access control; downloadable application development software; downloadable computer software for use as an application programming interface (API) for building software applications; downloadable virtual reality software; downloadable augmented reality software; downloadable software for navigating virtual reality and augmented reality environments; recorded virtual reality software; recorded augmented reality software; recorded software for navigating virtual reality and augmented reality environments."
Class 042 for '456 Filing: "computer software consultancy; providing non-downloadable application development software; providing non-downloadable software used in developing other software applications; providing information relating to computer technology; providing information relating to computer programming; providing information relating to computer programs; providing computer hardware and software information online; providing information in the field of computer technology systems used in biometrics."
To secure the trademark, Apple's priority filing was made in Liechtenstein on December 6, 2022.
Apple filed for the figurative version of Apple Vision Pro in Hong Kong as noted in their database entry below.

Apple also filed for the figurative version of Apple Vision Pro in Europe (UK) yesterday under #018885831under the same International Classes as was listed in Hong Kong.
