Apple introduced their revolutionary spatial computer last week branded 'Apple Vision Pro.' Along with such a new device, there were new features outlined in their keynote. These features carry new branded marketing terms. The two key trademark filings published today cover the new 'Apple R1' processor and 'Spatial Memories.' Apple also filed for 'Apple Reality' in Hong Kong.

Apple Trademark: Apple R1

The Apple Vision Pro headset introduced a brand-new R1 chip that is specifically dedicated to process input from the cameras, sensors, and microphones, streaming images to the displays within 12 milliseconds — for a virtually lag-free, real-time view of the world.

Today the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office published Apple's trademark filing for 'Apple R1' even though it was filed on June 9th.

Apple Trademark: Spatial Memories

Today, the U.S. Patent Office published two trademark filings from Apple relating to the Apple Vision Pro headset titled "Spatial Memories." Apple Vision Pro will bring a new dimension to powerful, personal computing by changing the way users interact with their favorite apps, capture and relive memories, enjoy stunning TV shows and movies, and connect with others in FaceTime. While Apple didn't highlight 'Spatial Memories' in their press release, they obviously felt it was a marketing term that they wanted trademarked.

Apple Reality: Last Saturday, Patently Apple posted a report titled "Apple Files for Mystery Trademark 'Apple Reality' in Europe, New Zealand and more." Today, the Hong Kong Patent and Trademark Office published Apple's trademark filing for 'Apple Reality" under #306269419. Apple filed their trademark under International Classes 09, 38 and 42 as they did in Europe and New Zealand.

It should be noted that international trademark classes that Apple files their trademarks under are important as the trademark registration will only protect those classes that have been identified in their original application. In a legal battle, the classes filed for originally could make or break a legal case.
