In a new analytical report this morning we learn that Apple led the Western Europe Tablet Market by wide margin in Q4 2022. Apple delivered 51.8% maket share, close to tripling second place Samsung as presented in the Canalys chart below.

Apple’s launch of the 10th generation iPad in Q4 helped extend their lead position in Western Europe’s tablet market. For all of 2022, Apple slipped by 16.8%, though led the market in each quarter.

The Canalys report also covered Western Europe's statistics for the PC Market covering desktops, workstations and notebooks for both Q4 and the full year. Below is their chart covering all of 2022 where Apple landed in fourth spot, slightly behind Dell.  Apple only dropped by 5.3% year-over-year whereas all other PC vendors fell by double digits as presented in the chart below.

Apple's decline for 2022 all took place in Q4, dropping 22.8%. Though in contrast, Dell and HP declined 42% each in Q4. The report further noted that notebooks performed worst of all, declining 40% year-over-year.
