Apple’s Mumbai retail store is expected to open its gates to the public this month. The Mumbai store launch will be followed by a retail store in Delhi-NCR. The Mumbai store will be in India's financial capital. The first Apple Store is coming up at the Jio World Drive mall, that we reported on in March. Apple’s flagship store in Mumbai is coming up over 22,000 square feet in the Jio World Drive Mall owned by Reliance Industries.

Apple is also building its second retail store, which is scheduled to open in the coming days in Delhi. It will open in the high-end Select CITYWALK mall in Saket.

In Early February, during Apple's Financial Conference Call, Apple's CEO stated. "India is hugely exciting market for us and is a major focus. We brought the online store there in 2020. We will soon bring Apple retail there. So we're putting a lot of emphasis on the market."

Inspired by the iconic 'Kaali Peeli' taxi art unique to Mumbai, Apple's new BKC creative includes colourful interpretations of the decals combined with many Apple products and services that will be available for our customers to discover.

The creative for the store features a bright welcome to people passing by with the classic Apple greeting, "Hello Mumbai".

The Apple BKC website offers new wallpapers and a music playlist for the sounds of Mumbai.
