Apple's CEO is in Beijing for the 2023 China Development Forum & visited their Sanlitun Store last night to Cheers from in-store customers

Apple's CEO will be attending the 2023 China Development Forum where he has served as the foreign co-chairman of the forum in the past. The event takes place from the 25th to 27th with the theme "Economic Recovery: Opportunities and Cooperation." Cook participated in the forum four times during the five years from 2017 to 2021, and only missed one in 2020.

Last night Apple's CEO paid a visit to their Sanlitun Store in Beijing, according to a United Daily News report. It was Cook's first visit here in three years. His visit caused cheers fro in-store customers.

The store held a special 'Today at Apple" session relating to a public welfare project last night that Cook attended.

Over 100 overseas delegates will participate in the forum, including executives from leading multinationals, overseas scholars, and representatives from international organizations, said  Laiming, deputy director of the Development Research Center (DRC) of the State Council, adding that officials from the Chinese central government's departments will introduce China's policy orientation at the forum.
